Utah Clean Energy Executive Director, Sarah Wright will join Jason Berry, Manager of Utah State Energy Program; Renee Zollinger, Environmental Manager of Salt Lake City Corporation, and Alex Parvaz, Student Activist, on an interactive panel discussion as part of the University of Utah’s Focus the U on Climate Change outreach campaign. The event will explore questions such as: What are local governments and non-profits doing to create climate change policy? What are the projected goals of handling these changes? How can our universities and colleges play a role?

The UCCD presents the 2009/2010 Ambassador John Price and Marcia Price World Affairs Lecture Series in partnership with Westminster College and the American Express Weldon J. The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Building Technologies Program is offering a Webinar titled “Going With the Flow: Designing High-Performance Buildings with EnergyPlus.”

The Webinar will focus on the importance of precise energy simulations in the drive for high-performance buildings, and will provide an overview of the features and capabilities of EnergyPlus software and the OpenStudio plugin.
