Claiming Earth as Common Ground

Utah Interfaith Power & Light invites you to attend two important free community events. People from all faith backgrounds will gather to learn and discuss how we can come together to protect the earth, our common ground.

Both events will take place on Thursday January 21st, 2010

First at 2:00 p.m. on the campus of Brigham Young University in Provo (building location to be announced), Rabbi Andrea Cohen-Kiener will give a presentation on her book, Claiming Earth as Common Ground: The Ecological Crisis through the Lens of Faith

Then, at 6:30 p.m. at the I.J. & Jeanne Wagner Jewish Community Center please come for some light appetizers courtesy of Liberty Heights Fresh followed at 7:00 p.m. by a presentation by Andrea Cohen-Kiener. We will then gather at small group tables for conversations facilitated by local interfaith leaders exploring perspectives on stewardship and the sacred Earth.
