I was glad to see the good work of Peggy Fletcher Stack as she noted the major religions’ positions on the importance of honoring our responsibility to protect the Earth from human-caused climate change (“Saving the world — an article of eco-faith,” Tribune, Nov. 26). So often the dominant religion here in Utah is believed to be in lock step with Utah’s politicians, who are truly in denial about the huge importance of immediately curbing our carbon footprint.
