The Environmental Protection Agency honored the Utah Building Energy Efficiency Strategies partnership last week for its education, assistance and training programs.

Besides the state energy office, the partnership includes the nonprofit Utah Clean Energy and the state’s facility management group. State government’s role, the news release said, is to “lead by example” to save energy throughout Utah’s economy by encouraging best practices in energy efficiency and high-performance building.
