Wind for Schools

The Utah Wind for Schools Project connects schools with what they need to develop wind power projects, integrate renewable energy into curriculum, and foster a new generation of renewable energy technicians and experts.

Current Wind for Schools projects include:

  • Milford Elementary School (Milford, Utah)
  • Milford High School (Milford, Utah)
  • Three Peaks Elementary (Enoch, Utah)
  • Cyprus High School (Magna, Utah)

Funding & Incentives
Depending on where your school is located, you might be eligible to apply for the following grants:

  • Rocky Mountain Power Blue Sky Community Renewable Energy Grants
  • USDA Farm Bill Section 9007

Contact your utility provider about incentives for renewable energy, such as net metering, rebates, and grant programs.
