Shelby has joined Utah Clean Energy in 2018 as the Community Program Coordinator. In this role, Shelby focuses on how to incorporate underserved communities into climate action and environmental conversation during the transition to a clean energy economy. She joins Utah Clean Energy after the completion of her Master of Science in Environmental Science at The Ohio State University, where she balanced research roles in environmental economics and conservation policy. Shelby holds experience working with diverse community groups from urban Salvador, Brazil to rural Petén, Guatemala, and in her hometown of Columbus, Ohio. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors rock climbing and cycling, as well as painting and petting every dog she comes across.
