Kevin is the lead for energy efficiency programs, policy, and regulatory activities for Utah Clean Energy. Currently, he serves as a public member of Utah’s Uniform Building Code Commission, a Co-Facilitator of the ILFI Great Basin Collaborative, and is a regular participant in Demand-side Management Advisory Groups for both Rocky Mountain Power and Dominion Energy. Kevin has spearheaded efforts to pass local and state policies to enable innovative financing clean energy projects, improvements to energy codes for Utah homes and buildings, advance energy transparency in municipal and commercial buildings, and policies to expand electric vehicle incentives and infrastructure. Kevin previously served as a consultant to Salt Lake City on the its Project Skyline and Elevate Buildings initiatives from 2014 to 2017, co-chaired the Building Efficiency Committee for the State of Utah's Energy Efficiency and Conservation Plan in 2014, and served on the Energy Management Program Advisory Committee for Salt Lake Community College from 2010 to 2018. Kevin graduated with a B.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of Utah and an M.Sc. in Environmental Sustainability from the University of Edinburgh.
