Jennifer Bodine is very excited to have joined the Utah Clean Energy team in January as the new Deputy Director. Prior to joining the UCE team, she served as Weber State University’s Sustainability Manager for over fourteen years and also served as WSU’s Interim Energy Manager since 2023. In her position with WSU, Jenn managed an amazing team responsible for saving energy, conserving water, reducing waste, improving air quality, and ultimately helping WSU achieve its goal of being carbon neutral by the year 2040. To date, this team slashed WSU’s carbon emissions by 40%, reduced electricity consumption by 25%, natural gas consumption by 46%, water consumption by 28%, and annually diverted over 25% of University waste from the landfill. In her time with WSU, Jenn also had the pleasure of advising WSU’s student sustainability clubs and helping individuals and organizations on and off campus adopt sustainability practices. Before arriving at WSU, Jenn was a planner for Teton County, Wyoming, and a recreational trail grants administrator for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. Jenn has an M.S. degree in Natural Resources and an M.A. in Public Policy & Administration from The Ohio State University. In her spare time, Jenn loves hiking, reading, and spending time with her two daughters, Kate and Claire (ages 16 and 9).

NOTICE: WE ARE NOT A SOLAR COMPANY

We would like to clarify that Utah Clean Energy is not a solar company. We are a nonprofit organization that advocates for solar and other clean energy technologies, but we do not install or sell solar in any way.

Utah Clean Energy Association is not affiliated with our work. This is a sales group that despite our best efforts to get them to stop, continues to use our name in their advertising. We encourage you to report them to Google Ads as misleading. The company that reached out to you is likely a solar company that purchased your contact information as a lead. You may consider reporting that company to the Better Business Bureau for using misleading sales tactics also.

We apologize for any confusion this may have caused and appreciate your understanding.

Thank you,

The Utah Clean Energy team
