Stanton is the former CEO and Regional Director of Maxam North America, a subsidiary of Maxam Corporation Inc; a global explosives and mining services company with headquarters in Madrid, Spain. He retired from Maxam after a 27 year career. He currently serves his local church, Calvary Baptist, as Chairman of the Board of Deacons. In his capacity as Chairman he was instrumental in helping to convert Calvary to Solar and collaborated with Utah Clean Energy in various clean energy initiatives.
Stanton also serves as Chairman of the Global Board of Advisors of Harvest Intercontinental American University, a private, non-profit university established in Olney, Maryland, to help provide quality tertiary education to underprivileged students in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Johnson holds an undergraduate degree in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Montana Technological University, Butte, Montana and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. He was born and raised in Liberia, West Africa and prior to coming to Utah worked for a German owned iron ore mining company for 10 years as a mining and explosives application engineer.
