Responding to Federal Funding Impacts on Clean Energy

Utah Clean Energy is closely following the executive actions of the Trump administration and their impact on important clean air and clean energy programs underway in Utah. Although a temporary block has been placed on actions to freeze federal funds appropriated by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the Inflation Reduction Act, these actions are still delaying and could ultimately halt vital investments that create jobs and benefit Utah communities and businesses. The executive orders impact funds approved by Congress to support low-income home energy efficiency rebates, grants for zero-emissions vehicles, and programs to bring solar energy to underserved communities, among others.

We will keep you up to date as we learn more from Governor Cox’s administration, Utah’s congressional delegation, and federal agencies.  What we know with certainty is that these resources will help Utahns save money, create jobs, and create a prosperous energy future for all of us.

NOTICE: WE ARE NOT A SOLAR COMPANY

We would like to clarify that Utah Clean Energy is not a solar company. We are a nonprofit organization that advocates for solar and other clean energy technologies, but we do not install or sell solar in any way.

Utah Clean Energy Association is not affiliated with our work. This is a sales group that despite our best efforts to get them to stop, continues to use our name in their advertising. We encourage you to report them to Google Ads as misleading. The company that reached out to you is likely a solar company that purchased your contact information as a lead. You may consider reporting that company to the Better Business Bureau for using misleading sales tactics also.

We apologize for any confusion this may have caused and appreciate your understanding.

Thank you,

The Utah Clean Energy team
