Utah Clean Energy is closely following the executive actions of the Trump administration and their impact on important clean air and clean energy programs underway in Utah. Although a temporary block has been placed on actions to freeze federal funds appropriated by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the Inflation Reduction Act, these actions are still delaying and could ultimately halt vital investments that create jobs and benefit Utah communities and businesses. The executive orders impact funds approved by Congress to support low-income home energy efficiency rebates, grants for zero-emissions vehicles, and programs to bring solar energy to underserved communities, among others.
