Local air quality advocates, athletes, and supporters joined together throughout March to raise awareness and money for clean air and climate solutions through the Up For Air personal challenge! We are thrilled to report that 173 donors raised over $11,000 in support of Utah Clean Energy’s work, and Patagonia is matching the first $10,000 bringing the total raised to over $20,000!
Utah Clean Energy is grateful for all of the athletes who completed personal challenges during the Up For Air event! From skiing mountains to running trails, Utahns showed once again that we are eager to do our part for clean air and a healthy climate. Caroline Gleich climbed up and skied down 29,032 feet (the elevation of Everest) over a 24-hour period!
