Volunteers Needed!

Position Description:

Utah’s air quality problem is largely driven by the pollution emitted from our buildings, homes, and cars. But many communities across Utah are not familiar with, or experience trouble accessing, the energy efficiency tools that would help them reduce their impact on air quality and climate change. If you’re looking to empower your community and help solve this problem, then we’ve got an opportunity for you!

Utah Clean Energy is seeking the help of a small group of volunteers to support our Empower Communities initiative through community engagement work. As an Energy Outreach Volunteer, you would connect community members with energy efficiency and clean energy resources by tabling at a few public-facing events per month. You’ll have the opportunity to get to know Utah Clean Energy staff, develop professional experience in the clean energy field, network with community partners and neighbors, and contribute to a cleaner energy future!

NOTICE: WE ARE NOT A SOLAR COMPANY

We would like to clarify that Utah Clean Energy is not a solar company. We are a nonprofit organization that advocates for solar and other clean energy technologies, but we do not install or sell solar in any way.

Utah Clean Energy Association is not affiliated with our work. This is a sales group that despite our best efforts to get them to stop, continues to use our name in their advertising. We encourage you to report them to Google Ads as misleading. The company that reached out to you is likely a solar company that purchased your contact information as a lead. You may consider reporting that company to the Better Business Bureau for using misleading sales tactics also.

We apologize for any confusion this may have caused and appreciate your understanding.

Thank you,

The Utah Clean Energy team
